Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America (Garelick Farms) is hiring a General Laborer for 1st shift. The role offers a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule with a pay rate of $20.75 per hour and a $1,500 sign-on bonus for external candidates.

Responsibilities include assisting operators, handling materials, and supporting production with a focus on quality and safety. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, be able to read and write English, and work well in a fast-paced, team-based

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions.
• Able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Assist operators as necessary.
• Load and unload materials, ingredients, parts, products, cases, crates, and pallets.
• Move, stack, or place items on conveyor manually or by mechanized means.
• Deliver production or area specific items to designated work areas for processing.
• Pack products in crates or boxes by hand.
• Sort, bundle, and fill containers or place in assembled units.
• Mark or put identifying labels on product loads.
• Maintain general housekeeping of the assigned area.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Report quality and operational issues or irregularities to supervisor.
• Maintain safe working conditions and comply with health and safety regulations.
