Job summary

FORMA-FAB METALS, INC. is seeking a dependable general laborer for a full-time shift, Monday–Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM with overtime as needed.

The role involves removing parts from sheet metal after laser cutting, sorting scrap, and transporting parts using a pallet jack. You will also occasionally use power tools, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and follow PPE guidelines while coordinating with the team to keep production moving efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience with sheet metal is a plus but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Remove metal parts from sheet metal after laser cutting.
• Sort and dispose of scrap metal properly.
• Load finished parts onto pallets and move them with a pallet jack.
• Occasionally operate power tools such as grinders.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE provided.
• Collaborate with team to keep production moving smoothly.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Job description

Position:

• Remove (shake/punch out) metal parts from sheet metal after laser cutting
• Sort and dispose of scrap metal properly
• Load finished parts onto pallets and transport materials using a pallet jack
• Occasionally operate power tools such as grinders
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
• Follow safety procedures and wear the provided PPE
• Work closely with team members to keep production moving efficiently
• Assist in other areas as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Sheet metal experience is a plus (but not required)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and solid work ethic
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Manufacturing setting with occasional loud noise
• Humidity levels may increase during the summer months
• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per shift
