Job summary

Greif in Franklin, KY is hiring for a 2nd shift General Labor position. You will operate and assist with manufacturing equipment, perform routine inspections, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential and opportunities for pay increases through performance every 90 days. Greif offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive total rewards package.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and assist with manufacturing equipment while following established procedures.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain machinery and work areas.
• Load and unload materials on production equipment and assembly lines.
• Perform routine quality inspections on finished products.
• Complete general housekeeping and property maintenance tasks.
• Report equipment concerns or quality issues to supervisors.
• Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.
• Support the production team with additional duties as needed.

Job Description:

Position: General Labor - 2nd Shift

Location: Franklin, KY
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 12:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour + $1.00 Shift Differential- have the opportunity to earn pay increases every 90 days through performance evaluations.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $15.82 - $25.24annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between18.00 to18.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
