Job summary

Greif in Franklin, KY is seeking a General Labor – 1st Shift to operate and assist with manufacturing equipment and maintain product quality. You will load and unload materials, perform basic line duties, and support continuous production alongside a safety‑conscious team.

• Complete general housekeeping and property maintenance tasks.
• Report equipment concerns or quality issues to supervisors.
• Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.
• Support the production team with additional duties as needed.

Job Description

Position: General Labor – 1st Shift

Location: Franklin, KY

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5AM – 1 PM

Starting Pay: $18.00/hour - have the opportunity to earn pay increases every 90 days through performance evaluations.

Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $15.82 - $25.24 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between 18.00 to 18.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. If the competitive wage is equal in both fields, the starting rate is the same for all applicants that apply for this role. The starting rate is not representative of future compensation increases. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
