Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring for a 1st Shift Freight Handler in Wyoming, MI. You will help unload pallets, sort inbound freight by item code, and ensure pallets are in good condition for storage and sale.

The role requires reading and communicating in English and working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position offers a starting pay of $18.60 per hour with two pay raises within your first year, plus overtime potential and a Monday–Friday schedule with weekends off.

1st Shift Freight Handler

Location: 333 50th St. SW, Wyoming, MI 49548.

Pay

Starting at $18.60/hour. Plus, earn two pay raises in your first year. Earn more per hour for speed and efficiency.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday work week, with Saturday and Sundays off. 1st Shift - 6am to finish (Schedule subject to change based on needs, shifts vary based on work volume).

Requirements

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers.
• Must be able to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F).
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
