Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. in Willard, OH is hiring a Forklift/PIV Operator for first shift (Mon-Fri 6:00 am–2:30 pm).

The role requires forklift operation, inventory scanning, loading/unloading parts, and keeping lines stocked while adhering to safety and ISO standards. You must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid lift truck license (or willingness to obtain one), read instructions, communicate effectively, learn Janus scanning guns and AS/400 basics, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid lift truck operator's license or willing to obtain one.
• Able to read and understand instructions.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to learn Janus scanning guns and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of AS/400 or willing to learn.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily safety check sheet on forklift.
• Loading and unloading parts or materials off trucks.
• Scan all parts in and out of stock locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Keep assembly lines and associated departments stocked with the proper amount of parts.
• Avoid overstocking lines or departments with excess inventory.
• Abide by all SBD Willard safety policies.
• Follow all applicable ISO standards & procedures.
• Ensure all stock areas are kept neat and organized.
• Use proper radio etiquette.
• Provide backup as needed throughout the department as needed.
• Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Zone Leader.
