Job summary

AZZ Inc. has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Hurst facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for receipt and shipment of materials and products.

You will work primarily in the yard on a forklift/spotter truck and must be able to work outside in various weather conditions. Responsibilities include receiving goods, moving product, weighing/scaling loads, uploading documents, and coordinating shipments.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control and costs is preferred.
• Certified forklift operator is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods, verify order and inspect condition of goods.
• Move product to and from storage, production areas, and loading dock via forklift.
• Scale incoming & outgoing loads on truck scale.
• Upload photos and documents into our system.
• Coordinate outgoing shipments with shipping and receiving personnel.
• Verify information against BOLs, invoices and orders; perform daily equipment inspection.
