Job summary

Aerotek is hiring 2 experienced 1st shift Forklift Operators for a national manufacturing company in Lawnside, NJ. Operators will handle sit-down and reach forklifts, load/unload trucks, perform order picking, palletize products, and use RF scanners to track inventory.

This onsite role runs 7:30am–4:30pm, Mon–Fri, with overtime opportunities. Pay ranges from $20.00–$21.00 per hour, with benefits within 30 days and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating both sit-down forklifts and reach trucks in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more on a daily basis.
• Experience with palletizing products and breaking down pallets in a safe and organized manner.
• Hands-on experience with loading and unloading trucks and other delivery vehicles.
• Experience in order picking and packing within a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks and sit-down forklifts to move large products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks and other delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled carefully and placed in the correct locations.
• Perform order picking and packing tasks for parts and product orders in the front half of the warehouse.
• Break down pallets and palletize products appropriately to maintain stability, safety, and efficient use of warehouse space.
• Use RF scanners to accurately pick, track, and record inventory and order movements.
• Assist in shipping and receiving activities, including staging products, verifying quantities, and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Lift and move items weighing 50 pounds or more on a daily basis while following proper lifting techniques.
• 1st shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Mon - Fri
