Job summary

QPS Employment Group in Columbia, MO seeks a Forklift Operator - Order Selector for a fast-paced warehouse on the 1st shift. Wage is $18/hour, with hours Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Immediate hire.

You will operate forklifts and cherry pickers, perform shipping/receiving duties, use RF scanners, and maintain inventory and shipment records. This role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. Candidates with warehouse experience and attention to detail will excel.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and basic data entry.
• Experience with shipping/receiving and warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to safely load and unload trucks.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties.
• Use pallet jacks to move and palletize products.
• Use a cherry picker to pick orders.
• Pick, pack, sort, stack, and organize inventory and materials.
• Scan products and inventory using RF scanners.
• Complete light computer work and data entry tasks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and shipment documentation.
• Ensure products are properly stored and prepared for shipment.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures and company standards.
