Surge Staffing is hiring a Material Handler / Forklift Operator for 1st shift. The role involves operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts, moving materials, loading/unloading trailers, staging products, and supporting warehouse operations.

The position requires forklift experience and the ability to work 8–10 hour shifts. Candidates should be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, or receiving preferred.
• Ability to lift and move warehouse materials safely.
• Must be able to work 8–10 hour shifts.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down or stand-up forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trailers and semi-trucks.
• Move, stack, and organize pallets and materials throughout the facility.
• Transport parts and materials to production work areas.
• Stage materials and finished products for production and shipping.
• Use RF scanners to scan and track inventory.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
• Verify products, parts, and shipments for accuracy.
• Complete required warehouse, shipping, and inventory paperwork.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed.
