Job summary

Hayden Valley Foods in Grove City, Ohio, is hiring 1st Shift Boxers to join a fast-paced production team. The Boxer inspects, packages, labels, and prepares products according to customer and company requirements while supporting daily production goals.

Employees follow GMP and food safety rules, maintain clean work areas, and collaborate with machine operators, leads, and quality control to ensure quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions.
• Ability to accurately identify products, packaging materials, and labels.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail while performing repetitive tasks.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work required overtime when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Package finished products according to established specifications and production requirements.
• Inspect products and packaging for quality, accuracy, and potential defects before boxing.
• Verify correct product, packaging materials, labels, lot information, and quantities.
• Properly assemble, fill, seal, label, and prepare boxes for the next stage.
• Use scales, tape guns, and other basic packaging equipment as required.
• Monitor products for contamination and food safety concerns.
• Report quality or safety concerns to supervisor or QC.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work area throughout the shift.
• Follow GMP, SSOP, HACCP, SQF, allergen-control, and sanitation requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
