The position requires at least 2 years in facilities maintenance, solid mechanical aptitude, and experience with cleaning/restrooms, lighting, and preventive maintenance. Onsite work with a daytime shift supports a stable routine.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of general or facilities maintenance and mechanical work experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to perform mechanical tasks.
• Experience performing janitorial duties, including cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, lunchrooms, shop floors, and common areas.
• Ability to perform snow removal, lawn care, trash cleanup, and general grounds maintenance.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Experience with industrial or building maintenance tasks such as basic repairs, painting, and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and basic maintenance tools in a safe manner.
• Capability to assist with equipment moves and new equipment installations.
• Strong attention to safety, with the ability to recognize and report maintenance issues and safety hazards.

Work is performed on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime work routine in a structured and orderly setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
