Job summary

Allen Distribution is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance team in Allentown, PA. The role focuses on maintaining facilities, equipment and grounds, adhering to food safety guidelines and company standards.

You'll support various departments, perform mechanical, pneumatic and electrical repairs, and respond to equipment issues with a proactive, safety-first mindset. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Intermediate understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, structural and electrical assets.
• Knowledge of safety regulations including SDS and food safety requirements.
• Ability to prioritize workload across multiple departments.
• Capability to stand, bend, lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical, pneumatic and electrical repairs in compliance with codes/policies.
• Provide 24hr maintenance on call for non-commercial equipment as scheduled.
• Maintain communication with workload scheduler on daily repairs.
• Attend training and complete required documentation.
• Follow safety policies and SOPs and assist with snow removal when required.
