Jobot is seeking an experienced 1st Shift Fabrication Supervisor to lead day-to-day fabrication operations in Appleton, WI. This hands-on leadership role requires strong knowledge of metal fabrication, blueprints, and safe, cost-aware production planning.

You will guide a team, optimize labor and equipment, and drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in manufacturing or fabrication, proficiency with laser cutting, CNC, press brakes, welding, and tooling, and a track record

Qualifications

• 7+ years in equipment manufacturing or fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.
• Hands-on with laser cutting, CNC equipment, press brakes, welding, tooling, and fixtures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and hold production employees accountable.
• Experience planning production, setting priorities, and optimizing labor and equipment.
• Understanding of safety, quality, cost control, and continuous improvement.
• Associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field preferred, or equivalent applicable experience.

Job Details

We’re partnering with an established manufacturer in Northeast Wisconsin looking for an experienced Fabrication Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day fabrication operations. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who understands metal fabrication, knows how to lead and develop people, and can keep production moving while maintaining strong safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive experience in equipment manufacturing, fabrication, or a similar production/shop environment.
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with laser cutting, CNC equipment, press brakes, welding, tooling, and fixtures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.
• Proven ability to lead, train, coach, and hold production employees accountable.
• Experience planning production, setting priorities, and optimizing labor and equipment.
• Understanding of safety, quality, cost control, and continuous improvement.
• Associate degree in a mechanical or electrical field preferred, or equivalent applicable experience.
