Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing is seeking a 1st Shift Fab Operator for the CE facility in Salina, KS. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime on Fridays as required.

Primary duties include operating fabrication equipment, reading prints, and using measuring tools. Candidates should be capable of following safety regulations and supporting a team-first culture at Great Plains Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Fabrication Operator experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand team concepts and be a strong team player.
• Excel in fast paced, high-pressure situations.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Run equipment throughout the fabrication department.
• Use and understand AS400.
• Read prints and use tape measure, calipers, etc.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear prescribed PPE.
• Other duties as assigned.
