Your Opportunity: Navitor Midwest, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a new Equipment Operator to join the team! In this position, you will be responsible for operating cutting equipment utilized in the finishing steps of production.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate guillotine cutter equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
• Check paper for type, size, color, and quantity.
• Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality.
• Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.

Your Shift:

• Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2pm

You Must Have:

• Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances.
• High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• High degree of mechanical ability.
• Good reading ability.

We Would Also Prefer:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to work with very close tolerances.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members.
• High degree of analytical skills.
• Good color discernment.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $21.00. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
