Job summary

Banner Engineering is hiring a 1st shift Electrical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot production lines and equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. You will diagnose issues quickly and implement corrective actions to keep lines running safely.

This role reports to Manufacturing Engineering and requires hands-on experience with automation systems and PLC/HMI troubleshooting, with a Monday–Friday schedule and potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLCs and automation systems.
• Proven ability to work independently on 2nd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support instruments and control systems in manufacturing environments.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and motors in real time on production lines.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Document procedures and maintenance activities in CMMS systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to optimize performance.
