Job summary

rms Company, a Cretex Medical affiliate, is seeking an EDM CNC Machinist to support the manufacture of medical components on the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 3:30pm–3:30am). You will operate EDM CNC machines, perform quality inspections, complete tool changes, and coordinate with manufacturing to maintain tight tolerances in a clean room environment.

Candidates should have experience with EDM, GD&T, blueprint reading, and micrometer/caliper use; familiarity with maintenance and troubleshooting of EDM

Qualifications

Operator experience with EDM CNC machines.
Strong math background, preferable in machine math/shop math.
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience using a microscope.
Ability to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometer.

Responsibilities

Operate EDM CNC machines.
Perform quality inspection on completed parts.
Perform preventative maintenance on Swiss CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performance.
Complete tool changes.
