Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Morton, IL, is seeking a dynamic Manager, Distribution (1st Shift) to lead an aftermarket parts distribution center. You will supervise up to 40 hourly personnel, driving safety, quality and on-time service while engaging cross-functional teams.

This on-site role requires strong leadership, a focus on continuous improvement, and a commitment to Caterpillar’s values and customer success. The position reports to the Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD).

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution center teams through coaching and training to maintain a positive work environment.
• Drive operational excellence by resolving issues and improving processes.
• Ensure safety and compliance through daily safety meetings and proper procedures.
• Oversee inventory, receiving, storage and equipment management.
• Handle payroll, attendance and workflow to optimize service levels and costs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Caterpillar management.
