Job summary

Carter LOGISTEED Express, Inc. | Carter LOGISTEED Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Dispatcher to oversee and coordinate driver activities, updates on route timeliness, and communication with suppliers, customers, and internal teams. This on-site, first-shift role reports to the Shift Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and experience in dispatching, route management, and logistics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with TMW software are pluses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Dispatch, route management and dispatching experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge in logistics and manufacturing preferred.
• Must be organized, responsible and dependable.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook required; knowledge of TMW software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace drivers, tractors and shipments for on time delivery.
• Effectively manage drivers using current company policies and procedures.
• Dispatch drivers to and from facility while managing driver routes.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, internal and external customers.
