Job summary

Packer Fastener is seeking a Full-Time Driver for our Kansas City Branch in Lenexa, KS. This 1st shift position offers no holidays and no weekends, with duties including delivery of materials and maintaining safe, accurate service for customers and branches.

The role requires a valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and strong communication/organizational skills. You’ll work within a team focused on Swagger-driven service and rapid delivery throughout the Midwest.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must obtain DOT Fed Med Card and pass drug test if required.
• Able to obtain company’s auto insurance coverage per Driver Safety Policy.
• Familiarity with delivery territory.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and service-minded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers and branches safely and on time.
• Load/unload materials with or without equipment.
• Verify accuracy of materials delivered.
• Maintain vehicle condition and comply with traffic laws.
• Report maintenance needs to Fleet/Branch Manager.
• Ensure orders are delivered to correct branch location.
• Maintain a safe work environment per OSHA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
