Job summary

Packer Fastener is seeking a Warehouse Associate I to join our Kansas City team in Lenexa, KS. The role supports daily warehouse operations including order fulfillment, packing, receiving and shipping under supervision, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

You will assist in inventory tasks, work with NetSuite, and help maintain organized distribution processes while following established procedures and directives from leaders.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be willing/able to obtain forklift certification issued by Packer Fastener.
• Familiarity of delivery territory.
• Must be able to learn NetSuite hardware/software.
• Must make safety a priority.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fills customer orders following established operational processes.
• Determines type of order, correlating priority and any special requirements.
• Uses tools such as scan gun, scale, knife, tape gun, and stapler to complete orders.
• Collaborates with receiving and shipping areas to ensure seamless processes.
• Performs standard warehouse duties (picking, packing, receiving, shipping).
• Safely operates all warehouse equipment and obeys safety rules.
