Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Arden, NC is hiring for an Assembler - 1st Shift. You will perform winding, assembly and wiring to build sub-assemblies and final control equipment, following engineering drawings and manufacturing specs.

This role requires lifting, bending and ladder work, and offers an hourly rate of $19.50. Applicants should be able to read blueprints, use power tools, and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Mechanical/electrical background preferred.
• Must reside within 50-mile radius of Avery Creek, NC.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control equipment from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare parts and materials, cut and strip wire, attach terminals.
• Check electrical/mechanical performance of completed assemblies.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area neat and orderly.
• Operate power tools and perform ladder work as required.
