Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE, is seeking a Continuous Line Welder on 1st Shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00am–3:30pm). Overtime may be available. You will produce Vishay components that meet quality and customer expectations in a high-volume environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent and basic arithmetic; prior production experience is desirable. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within a global manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.
• Prior production experience is desirable

Responsibilities

• Identifies correct short time overload procedure by analyzing pertinent information on the production ticket and traveler.
• Operates Short Time Overload machine according to proper DES.
• Records information as required on the production traveler and enters information into prod-info computer.
• Check production traveler to make sure previous steps have been done, and proper documentation has been filled out before sending on to the next operation.
