Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. seeks an Electron Beam Strip Weld Operator for 2nd shift at Vishay Dale Electronics in East Windsor, CT. You will operate the E-Beam weld machine, read blueprints, set up tooling and weld parameters, and ensure quality through inline and post weld inspections.

Responsibilities include maintaining 5S, recording production output and scrap, and adhering to quality and EHS policies. Overtime is available as needed and experience in manufacturing is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Welding course certification is preferred but not required.

• Performs oxy/acetylene butt-welds on WSL parts.
• Tooling and machine set‑up for welds.
• Performs quality inspection of welded parts.
• Maintains a clean, organized workstation and 5S.
• Reports discrepancies in line specifications to Supervisor.
• Troubleshoots tooling and equipment when material is out of tolerance.
• Loads/unloads material using hoist or pallet jack when racks are full.

Vishay Dale Electronics – East Windsor, CT is currently seeking applicants for an Electron Beam Strip Weld Operator on 2nd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

Job Summary

Performs the daily functions of an E-Beam weld machine to produce all WSL parts. Which include reading blueprints and work orders. Set up of the tooling and weld parameters according to the drawing. Performs pre-weld, in-line, and post weld quality inspection. Follows all Quality and EHS policies and procedures. Responsible for recording production output and scrap. Must maintain a clean workstation and adhere to 5S guidelines.

Job Location

Vishay Dale Electronics, East Windsor, CT is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 25 employees currently working in East Windsor.

What You Will Be Doing

• Performs oxy/acetylene butt-welds
• Tooling and machine set-up
• Performs quality inspection of welded WSL parts
• Maintains a clean and organized workstation / 5S
• Understands all processes and specification within the department and reports to Supervisor any discrepancies in line specifications.
• Troubleshoot tooling and equipment when material is out of tolerance
• Load and unload material using hoist / moving finished material when rack is full using a pallet jack.
