Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated seeks a skilled CNC operator to support manufacturing engineering and tooling improvements. You will perform CNC operation, set-up, and programming to assist operators, troubleshoot when setups fail, and uphold strict safety standards.

Expect to analyze processes, validate changes, and contribute to lean initiatives. With a High School Diploma or GED, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment, potentially lifting up to 50 lbs and covering extended shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of mold injection machines and processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• CNC operation, set-up, and programming background to assist the operators and problem solve when the setups are not producing good product.
• Must follow safety guidelines and requirements.
• Develop understanding of processes and equipment to identify issues via troubleshooting and data analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Support process validation projects with set-ups, studies and testing.
• Provide administrative support such as updating manufacturing documentation and reporting on process performance.
• Support projects including DMAIC, LEAN, 5S, cost reduction and process improvement.
• Inspect jobs on completion and ensure areas are clean; verify conformance to specifications.
