Job summary

TE-CO Manufacturing LLC is seeking a 1st shift CNC Mill Machinist to set up, edit and operate Vertical and Horizontal CNC Mills, performing close tolerance machining. Prior machine shop experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. Shift runs 6:00 A.M.–4:30 P.M.

Monday through Thursday, with safety protocols and continuous improvement emphasized. Ideal candidates will read blueprints, set up for unattended operations, and maintain tooling and programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of blueprint reading and tolerances.
• Experience with vertical/horizontal CNC mills preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints and process documents to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements.
• Plan and set up machines for unattended, lights-out operations with proper tooling and safety measures.
• Select, fabricate, align, and secure fixtures, cutting tools, and materials on machines.
• Start and observe machine operation; adjust programs or offsets as needed to maintain specs.
• Listen for tool wear or vibration and adjust machining parameters accordingly.
• Maintain machines and replace worn tools.
• Enter commands or load control media into machine controllers to retrieve programs.
• Measure dimensions with precision instruments to ensure specifications are met.
• Ensure proper lubrication and cooling during machining.
