Job summary

Dynex/Rivett Inc. is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to work with CNC Lathes including Mori Seiki SL403 and NLX2500. The candidate will set up, adjust, and operate the machines while performing in-process inspections using a variety of precision measuring instruments.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in CNC operation or related field.

• Familiarity with G and M codes and blueprints.

Job description

• Work from process operation documents to setup, adjust and operate CNC Lathes such as Mori Seiki SL403 and Mori Seiki NLX2500.
• Perform and document in-process inspections during production by using a variety of gages and other precision measuring instruments.
• Read G and M code along with blueprints to verify process accuracy when needed.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers and/or CNC Programmers to prove out new processes, tooling, and fixtures; provide input to optimize machining processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: One to three years minimum.

Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 pounds on a frequent basis; may lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
