Position Summary Details

The Cleaner position involves maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of an assigned area. Must be available to work Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Pay rate is $12.00/hr.

Essential Functions

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities, including heavy cleaning duties such as floors, rugs, walls, glass, and rubbish removal.
• Notify managers of repairs or additions needed for building systems.
• Establish effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
• Follow safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Be flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, following proper procedures for chemical and equipment use.
• Use ladders, dust, wash furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; clean ceilings, dust, polish fixtures, and wash blinds.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning.
• Remove stains, sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, or perform seasonal tasks like snow removal.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water and detergents or acids.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Clean carpets and apply spot treatments.
• Empty trash and clean food service areas.
• Polish furniture and fixtures, service restrooms.
• Clean vents, dust blinds, and polish wood furniture periodically.
• Clean interior glass, windows, and mirrors.
• Apply insecticides and fumigants as needed.
• Assist in event setup and cleanup, including arranging decorations and furniture.
• Maintain a clean and organized janitor’s closet and proper functioning of equipment.
• Requisition supplies and monitor building security and safety.
• Drive vehicles for cleaning tasks if required, including vans and industrial equipment.
• Perform basic repairs as needed and other miscellaneous duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must meet all requirements for working in specific ATS environments, including a ten-year work history if available.

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.
• One year of similar work experience.
