Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a production environment with unusual conditions with constant changes in temperature, wetness, different levels of noise, fumes, irritants, and gases from chemicals
  • Repeated walking, standing and bending is required
  • Ability to assess concentrations in tanks and mathematically determine appropriate additions and enter them into the computer
  • Ability to check chemicals for proper concentration
  • Ability to read and understand SDS
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Knowledge of data entry, Word and Excel
  • Ability to run hull cells
  • Titrations, chemical handling, pipetting
  • Attend training as required by the management
  • Work as a team player and or independently as required

Responsibilities:

  • The role of the Chemical Lab Technician is to maintain the balance of the chemistry in the chemical tanks to ensure the production of quality parts
  • Perform routine analysis on all chemical baths for plating, and cleaning lines
  • Keep all lab documents and lab performance in compliance with all company standards
  • Complete data sheets for chemical processes such as cleaning and electroplating
  • Prepare data charts to document process control statistics
  • Make chemical additions
  • Ability to use and calibrate all lab instruments
  • Perform other special analytical projects as assigned
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in work area as needed
  • Participate in preparation and execution of Nadcap chemical process audits
  • Maintain inventory of all chemicals used and ordering of new chemicals as required
  • Titrations, chemical handling, pipetting
  • Chemical safety, data management, computer operations
Physical Requirements
  • Visual acuity for detailed work
  • Must Be able to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist and waist to floor occasionally
  • Must be able to stand throughout the entire shift.
  • Must be able to work in an un-air conditioned, well ventilated and/or air-conditioned shop environment.
Qualifications
  • Must know basic computer skills.
  • Must be very detail and data oriented
