Job summary

Lake Air Products in Wisconsin is seeking a flexible 1st shift Breakout Operator to support Laser Forming and related fabrication tasks. You will load/unload parts, deburr, and assist in maintaining clean, efficient production areas.

In this role you will read gauges, record data, and handle paperwork while lifting up to 50 pounds. The ideal candidate is hands-on, versatile, and ready to grow with a fast-paced contract manufacturer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math calculations required.
• Must work well in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Remove laser or turret parts from sheets of metal and deburr as needed.
• Break out metal parts from laser forms.
• Load and unload parts from machines, carts, and dollies.
• Clean the production area by sweeping and mopping.
• Grind burrs and sharp edges using a grinder, speed lathe and polishing jack.
• Lift and position work pieces between machine dies using crane or manual effort.
• Scrape waste material and recycle metals.
• Read and interpret gauges.
• Record data and complete paperwork per job work orders.
