Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Mason, OH is seeking a Processor for our Processing Department. You’ll help deliver supplies to machines and kettles, follow production schedules, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

This role requires handling 50 lb lifts and operating forklifts in a fast-paced team setting. Starting pay is $25.40 per hour with holidays, vacation after 90 days, health benefits after 30 days, and a 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• History of safe work practices.
• Prior experience in a warehouse- shipping/receiving- logistics environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Attention to detail to call out defects and maintain quality standards.
• Score on job skills assessment to be coordinated after interview.

Responsibilities

• May include: follow production schedules with minimal scrap/spoilage.
• Visually inspect equipment for cleanliness or maintenance needs; clean components as needed.
• Monitor equipment controls, temperature meters, valves and adjust as needed.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack to move ingredients and pallets/totes.
• Open ingredient cases with can openers, knives, band cutters, snips, pliers and other small items.
• Record data pertaining to work completed, ingredients used, lot codes and processing information.
• Assist in cleaning equipment and lines between recipes.
• Acquire ingredients/supplies from warehouse; obtain samples of batches.
• Transfer finished products to drum/tote/tank via piping system.
• Determine appropriate batch size to meet orders and line demands.
• Operate equipment safely following GMP guidelines and keep work area clean.
• Other duties as assigned.
