Job summary

Allegiance Industries in Mount Holly, NC is hiring for a 1st shift Baler Operator. This hands-on role operates balers and material handling equipment to process recyclable materials, supporting safe, orderly waste handling and environmental compliance. On-the-job training provided.

You will sort, move, and lift heavy loads, maintain clean work areas, and follow safety procedures with PPE. Experience in manufacturing or recycling helps, and willingness to work outdoors is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, sanitation, or recyclable materials handling is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use PPE consistently.
• Outdoor work experience and heavy equipment operation are helpful.
• Familiarity with mechanical equipment, landfill or solid waste management, hazardous materials regulations, and environmental compliance is a plus.
• Ability to perform material handling and heavy lifting and maintain a clean work area.
