Qualifications

• At least 1 year of machine operating experience.
• Experience with metal fabrication or similar machinery preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.
• Experience using micrometers and calipers.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Haeger insertion machine used to install fasteners into sheet metal components.
• Load, position, and secure sheet metal parts into machinery.
• Insert nuts, bolts, studs, and other fasteners according to job specifications.
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and production orders.
• Inspect finished parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
