Job summary

Innomotics LLC in New Kensington, PA is seeking an Assembly Technician (1st Shift) to perform electrical and mechanical assembly of drives and sub-assemblies under supervision. You will use hand tools and follow engineering drawings, wiring schematics and BOMs to produce quality components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient use of basic hand and power tools required.
• Ability to perform responsibilities from engineering drawings, wiring schematics and bills of materials.
• Ability to climb to different heights and work at heights above waist level.
• Occasional heavy lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
• Good written and oral communication skills required.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Wire and assemble drives, sub-assemblies and components per drawings and BOMs.
• Use hand and power tools in a team environment.
• Lift and position products using overhead crane and material handling devices.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area following 5S and safety policies.
• Follow ISO workmanship procedures and support Quality Assurance.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel.
• Support Lean continuous improvement initiatives and assist junior staff.
