Job summary

Springfield ReManufacturing Corp. is seeking a Turbo Rebuilder to disassemble, clean, machine, and assemble turbo units to meet customer specifications.

This role requires strict safety adherence, ability to read and follow manufacturing processes, precision measurement, and teamwork in a 1st shift environment. The position is full-time at our Springfield, MO facility with opportunities for advancement and employee ownership.

Qualifications

• Follow prescribed safety procedures.
• Read and follow remanufacture processes for turbo units.
• Ability to use precision instruments and gauges.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, machine, and assemble turbo units to specifications.
• Identify and disassemble core turbo units.
• Clean components using approved methods.
• Operate light machining equipment to restore specs.
• Inspect finished product prior to shipping.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and workflow.
• Support Open Book Management and company ownership culture.

Position Summary:

The Turbo Rebuilder is primarily responsible for disassembling, cleaning, machining, and assembling turbo units to customer expectations and company requirements.

Job Duties:

• Follow prescribed safety procedures as needed
• Read, understand and follow processes to remanufacture a complete turbo unit
• Identify and disassemble core turbo units
• Clean turbo components using chemical wash, soda blast, or other approved cleaning methods
• Operate light machining equipment to return turbo components to specification
• Use precision instruments and gages to measure product
• Assemble turbo components to final product specifications
• Serve as the final inspection of the product before being shipped
• Work area and work flow organization are critical to success of this position; therefore excellent housekeeping must be maintained
• Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being a part owner of the company

Schedule

• 1st shift 4:45 AM – 3:15 PM; Monday - Friday, Some Saturdays, Closed Sundays
