Job summary

API Heat Transfer Career Center in Racine is hiring an Assembler for the 1st shift (5:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.). The position offers a starting hourly rate of $19.00+, with immediate health benefits and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8–12 hours per shift).
• Frequent walking throughout the production floor.
• Regularly lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand picksheets to pull parts for assembly.
• Produce finished components per specifications indicated on blueprints.
• Check quality of parts and assembled product at every step.

Skills

Mechanical aptitude

Knowledge of hand tools

Ability to read blueprints

Experience with computer systems (Plex)
