Club Z! Tutoring in the Silver Spring, MD area is seeking a 1st Grade Tutor to provide personalized, one-on-one support for foundational skills in math, reading, writing, and SEL.

You will craft individualized plans, conduct in-person sessions with local students, and communicate goals and progress to families while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. Competitive pay starts at $31 per hour with flexible scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for teaching young children.
• Strong grasp of early elementary ELA, reading fluency, phonics, and numeracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with families.
• Experience tutoring or teaching elementary students is favored.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person, one-on-one tutoring sessions with 1st graders and other early elementary students.
• Develop and implement personalized activity-based lessons aligned to grade level.
• Communicate progress and goals with parents regularly.
