Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate, or willingness to enroll in an approved program within six months of hire.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that support student learning across core content areas.
• Assess student growth and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and administrators.
• Implement school discipline policies and maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment.
• Maintain accurate records for student performance, discipline, lesson plans, and communication.
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues, and administrators in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in school activities, including events, fundraisers, field trips, and supervision duties.
• Attend faculty meetings, diocesan trainings, and professional development, including Catholic Identity Formation Training when required.
• Support and reinforce Catholic teaching throughout daily instruction and interactions.
