Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a Georgia PSC approved college/university in education.
• Valid Georgia teaching certificate in the applicable field.
• Endorsements in Special Education or related areas may be required.
• Experience with IEPs and differentiation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers grade-appropriate instruction aligned to standards.
• Develops lesson plans and in-person/virtual activities with evidence of prep.
• Communicates with families and district personnel via phone, email, or video.
• Maintains a safe, engaging classroom environment supporting diverse learners.
• Uses technology to enhance instruction and collaboration with students.
• Monitors and documents student progress, attendance, and reports.
• Supervises student behavior per school policies and conduct codes.
