As a 1st Grade Teacher, you will develop lesson plans aligned with established guidelines, establish rapport with students, staff, and parents, and motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge for a strong educational foundation tailored to each student's ability.
How You Will Impact Education
Instruction/Education Responsibilities
- Plan and implement instruction consistent with the company's philosophy, goals, and objectives.
- Create purposeful, effective lesson plans maximizing learning time.
- Present subject matter with real-world, application-based examples.
- Review student records to understand abilities and needs; maintain accurate records.
- Maximize educational achievement for each student.
- Use varied learning modalities and differentiated instruction.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and provide feedback; prepare students for state assessments.
- Refer students with learning difficulties to support personnel.
- Coordinate class field trips and assist in curriculum revision and resource selection.
Provide a Classroom Environment Conducive to Learning
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment.
- Maintain positive rapport, patience, and appropriate nurturing.
- Ensure classroom safety, cleanliness, and display of student work.
- Establish and enforce classroom rules fairly and consistently.
Instructional Planning
- Develop lesson plans aligned with guidelines and goals.
- Design individual and group activities to meet objectives and student needs.
- Prepare for classes and participate in curriculum planning.
- Incorporate diagnostic information and ensure resource protection.
School/Community Relations
- Establish cooperative relationships and communicate with parents effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and participate in extracurricular activities.
Required Qualifications And Skills

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and valid teaching certification.
- 1-3 years of successful teaching experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of learning theories, motivation, reinforcement, evaluation, and feedback techniques.
- Background check clearance.
- Effective instructional delivery and adherence to ethical standards.
