BASIS Baton Rouge Mid City Campus is seeking qualified candidates for a 1st Grade Elementary Teacher. The role focuses on differentiated instruction within a co-teaching model, working with a Subject Expert Teacher to address individual student needs and raise outcomes.

As a Learning Expert Teacher, you will customize lessons to meet each student’s level, foster a joyful learning culture, and contribute to a world-class BASIS Charter School education across K-3 classrooms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree required.
• Valid fingerprint clearance and/or state background check.
• Passion for student achievement and improving outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead one cohort of first-grade students in a classroom.
• Collaborate with Subject Expert Teacher for each class period.
• Provide individualized or small group instruction to meet needs.
• Maintain standards of student behavior for a productive classroom.
