Job summary

Berkshire Waldorf School is seeking a full-time First Grade class teacher for the 2027-28 school year. The ideal candidate will have Waldorf teaching experience, with strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Classroom support and mentoring will be provided on campus. Responsibilities include teaching a class of 12-15 students, leading the curriculum per Waldorf Standards, and preparing lessons, work, assessments, and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required for consideration.
• Waldorf Teacher Certificate or enrollment in an accredited Waldorf training program.
• Minimum of three years paid experience in an accredited primary school.

• Waldorf Teacher Certificate and/or enrollment in a Waldorf accredited training program

Salary:

This position has a base salary of $47,380 with increases dependent on experience.
