Job summary

Core Group Resources seeks an experienced First-Class Marine Electrician with strong electrical/electronic system skills for a marine or shipbuilding environment. You will work on power distribution, motor control, and cable testing, reading schematics and following complex installation and troubleshooting procedures.

Responsibilities include laying out, installing, and testing shipboard cables and equipment, supporting power systems, radar, sonar, and comms, and complying with safety rules

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years verifiable experience in electrical/electronic field.
• Experience with test equipment setup, handling, and cable testing (CAT 5 & fiber optic).
• Proficient in motor control systems and power distribution networks.
• Strong ability to follow complex schematics and test procedures.
• Knowledge of high-voltage electrical applications and marine/defense systems preferred.

• Work in physically demanding environments and adhere to safety procedures.
• Flexibly support day or night shifts.

Requirements

• Experience with test equipment setup, handling, and cable testing (CAT 5 and fiber optic).
• Proficient in working with motor control systems and power distribution networks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow complex schematics and test procedures.
• Knowledge of high-voltage electrical applications and marine/defense systems is preferred.
• Experience with the operation and testing of power, combat, communication, radar, and sonar systems is a plus.
• Comfortable working multiple shifts and in physically challenging environments.
• U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. (required due to federal contract obligations).
