Responsibilities

• Install, test and repair marine cables and equipment.
• Install and connect lighting, electrical power, electronics, and fiber equipment.
• Utilize hand and power tools along with blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of installation, testing and repairing marine cables and equipment

Reading marine blueprints

Working knowledge of installing and connection of lighting, electrical power, electronics and fiber equipment

Knowledge of commercial and government specifications and codes

Responsibilities

Responsible for the installation, test and repair of marine cables and equipment, installation and connection of lighting, electrical power, electronics and fiber equipment, utilizing hand and power tools and various test equipment along with blueprints, drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE IN INSTALLATION, TESTING AND REPAIRING OF MARINE CABLES AND EQUIPMENT.
• MUST HAVE 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS MARINE ELECTRICIAN.
• WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF INSTALLING AND CONNECTION OF LIGHTING, ELECTRICAL POWER, ELECTRONICS AND FIBER EQUIPMENT.
• MUST BE FAMILIAR WITH APPLICABLE COMMERCIAL AND GOVERNMENT SPECIFICATIONS AND CODES.
• MUST HAVE COMPREHENSIVE KNOWLEDGE AT COMPONENT/SYSTEM START-UP, TESTING, TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR.
• MUST BE ABLE TO READ MARINE BLUEPRINTS AND WORK FROM STANDARD AND METRIC SPECIFICATIONS.
• MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM WORK.
• CONSECUTIVE/VERIFIABLE WORK HISTORY.
• ABLE TO PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL EXAM, DRUG SCREEN.
