Job summary

Bobby Jones Links manages Live Oaks Golf Club and seeks a motivated 1st Assistant Golf Professional to lead the golf department’s daily operations and help shape its future from the ground up.

You will work with a PGA General Manager and support merchandising, scheduling, and training initiatives while delivering exceptional member and guest service.

• Understanding of Club Financials.
• Thorough working knowledge of the club’s golf operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to members and guests at all times.
• Manage daily golf operations, including opening and closing of the Pro Shop.
• Assist in the planning and execution of golf tournaments and club events.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members as needed.
• Create training programs, operational standards, and manuals.
• Generate weekly scheduling for all golf department team members.

Through these projects and future plans, Live Oaks is primed to become a premier destination for all golfers in and around Jackson.We are seeking a motivated and dedicated 1st Assistant Golf Professional to lead the daily operations of our golf department and this new chapter in Live Oaks history. This a unique opportunity to help set the direction for the club from the ground up. You’ll be working alongside a PGA General Manager with over 15 years’ experience and Public Merchandiser of the Year award winner.
