Job summary

Pratt Industries in Tulsa, OK is seeking a motivated 1st Assistant to help operators on presses, perform setup, run quality checks, and keep production on schedule. You will learn fast and grow with a leading packaging company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior corrugated industry experience preferred.
• 6 months’ Flexo/DieCut Helper experience.
• 6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Departments.

Responsibilities

• Set up slotting, feed, and die cut sections on machine accurately.
• Assist operator in other duties.
• Monitor board quality, including - loose liner, warp, dimensions, caliper, and report quality problems to the operator.
• Turn in maintenance work orders and keep equipment in good condition.
• Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Be willing to move up the line of progression to operator regardless of shift.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, safety and housekeeping.
• Help adhere to production schedule and suggest improvements to meet goals.
