Job summary

Pelton Shepherd is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead production on the floor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You’ll monitor metrics, resolve equipment issues quickly, and coordinate resources to keep schedules on track. The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing and a practical, roll-up-your-sleeves leadership style.

What You’ll Do

As a Shift Supervisor, you’ll lead production employees while ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Lead & Develop the Team

• Supervise and support production employees during assigned shifts


• Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable for performance


• Build a strong team culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity

Drive Production Performance

• Monitor production metrics and maintain performance standards


• Help achieve operational efficiency targets


• Ensure production schedules and deadlines are met


• Quickly resolve production issues to minimize downtime

Maintain Safety & Quality Standards

• Enforce Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) policies


• Ensure compliance with GMP and company SOPs


• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence

Support Operations When Needed

• Step in to assist with production tasks such as packing, stacking, or operating equipment


• Coordinate resources to keep production running smoothly

Education

Associate degree in Business, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent production leadership experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs


• Ability to climb, kneel, crawl, and perform repetitive production tasks
