Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking an Area Supervisor for our Marianna, FL distribution center. The role supports up to 40 non-exempt associates, coordinating work across Bulk, Shipping, Receiving, Repack, and Forklift areas to meet production goals.

Starting pay is $60,000 with opportunities to work across different shifts and departments. A high school diploma and 1–3 years of supervisory/management experience in an automated environment are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/management experience in an automated distribution or production environment.
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency and pick-to-light systems.
• Flexibility to work multi-shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• MS Office proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure area staffing for the assigned shift and maintain production, quality and safety standards.
• Provide orientation, coaching and training to assigned personnel on processes and systems; deliver corrective actions as needed.
• Create a positive team environment with motivating feedback and clear communication.
• Communicate effectively across DC departments to meet daily operational goals.
• Ensure daily housekeeping standards are met and equipment inspected.
• Prepare work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment replacement.
• Input data for required reporting.
