Family Dollar is seeking an Area Supervisor at our growing distribution center in Marianna, FL. The role leads a multi-shift team across departments to meet daily production, quality and safety standards.

The position requires 1–3 years supervisory experience in automated distribution or production, familiarity with RF and pick-to-light, and strong communication and organizational skills. Full benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of supervisory/management experience in automated distribution or production.
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency and pick-to-light systems desired.
• Must be flexible to work multi-shifts in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills; strong planning and organization.
• MS Office Suite proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the work area is appropriately staffed for the assigned shift and production, quality and safety standards are maintained.
• Provide orientation, coaching and training to assigned personnel on department processes and systems; provide corrective actions as appropriate.
• Create a positive team environment through motivation and feedback, and through active communication.
• Communicate effectively across DC departments to achieve daily operational goals.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are met daily.
• Conduct inspections of the work area/equipment and prepare work orders for repairs or replacements.
• Provide data input for required reporting.

1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 5am to 3:30pm

Pay: $60,000

What you'll be doing:

Exact job functions will vary based on area assigned, however the primary responsibilities are as follows:

• Ensure that the work area is appropriately staffed for the assigned shift and that production, quality and safety standards are maintained .

What we need from you:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 - 3 years of supervisory/management experience in an automated distribution or production environment
• Familiarity with Radio Frequency and pick-to-light systems desired
• Must be flexible to work multi-shifts in a fast-paced production environment
• Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills are key for all positions, as well as strong planning and organization skills
• MS Office Suite proficiency a plus
